                CHICKEN MEATBLASS RECIPE





Ingredients:

For Chicken Meatballs:

- 500 grams of chicken fillet, finely chopped

- 100 grams of sago flour or tapioca flour

- 1 egg

- 2 cloves of garlic, minced

- 1 tsp salt

- 1/2 tsp ground pepper

- 1/2 tsp sugar

- 1 tsp chicken broth powder (optional)

- 2 tbsp cold water


For the Broth:

- 1 liter of water

- 1 stalk of green onions, chopped

- Salt to taste

- Pepper to taste

- Fried shallots and celery (for garnish)


Instructions:


Making the Chicken Meatballs:


1. Blend or grind the chicken fillet until smooth.

2. In a bowl, combine the ground chicken, sago flour, egg, minced garlic, salt, ground pepper, sugar, and chicken broth powder (if using).

3. Mix until the dough becomes smooth and pliable.

4. Gradually add cold water while stirring until the mixture becomes more elastic.

5. Take a small portion of the mixture, shape it into a ball, and place it on a tray dusted with sago flour.

6. Repeat this process until you use up all the mixture.

7. Boil a large pot of water.


Making the Broth:


1. Pour water into the pot and bring it to a boil.

2. Add chopped green onions, salt, and pepper. Stir well.

3. Let the broth simmer on low heat for about 10-15 minutes.


Cooking the Chicken Meatballs:


1. Once the water is boiling, add the chicken meatballs to the pot.

2. Boil the meatballs until they float to the surface and are cooked through, about 10-15 minutes.

3. Remove the meatballs from the pot and drain them.


Serving:


1. Prepare bowls and place several chicken meatballs in each bowl.

2. Pour the hot broth over the meatballs.

3. Garnish with fried shallots and celery.

4. Chicken meatball soup is ready to be served. You can also serve it with rice or noodles as a side dish.
