CRISPY CHIKEN RECIPE

                                    CRISPY CHICKEN

                                



Ingredients:


Chicken Parts:

1. 4 pieces of chicken thighs (you can use other chicken parts of your choice)

2. 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

3. 1 teaspoon salt

4. ½ teaspoon black pepper

5. 1 teaspoon garlic powder

6. 1 teaspoon paprika powder (optional, for extra spice)

7. Eggs (2-3, depending on the amount of chicken you're using)

8. Vegetable oil (for frying)


Coating Mixture:

1. 1 cup breadcrumbs (you can also use panko breadcrumbs)

2. 1 teaspoon salt

3. ½ teaspoon black pepper

4. ½ teaspoon garlic powder

5. ½ teaspoon paprika powder (optional, for extra spice)


Instructions:


1. Prepare the Chicken: Wash the chicken pieces thoroughly and drain them well.


2. Make the Dry Flour Mixture:In a large bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika powder (if using). This is the first dry flour mixture.


3. Dip the Chicken: Dip each piece of chicken into the first dry flour mixture until evenly coated. Make sure the chicken is completely dry before dipping it into the wet flour mixture.


4. Make the Wet Flour Mixture: Beat the eggs in a separate bowl. This is the wet flour mixture.


5. Dip Back into the Dry Flour Mixture: After dipping the chicken into the wet flour mixture, roll it back in the first dry flour mixture until the chicken is thoroughly coated with the dry flour.


6. Coating:To create an extra crispy layer, mix breadcrumbs, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika powder (if using) in a separate bowl. Roll the chicken pieces in this mixture to provide an additional crispy coating.


7. Heat the Oil: Heat vegetable oil in a large pan to around 175°C (350°F). Ensure the oil is hot enough before frying the chicken.


8. Fry the Chicken: Fry the chicken pieces in the hot oil until they turn golden brown and crispy. This usually takes about 10-15 minutes, depending on the size of the chicken pieces and the oil temperature. Remember to flip the chicken pieces occasionally for even cooking.


9. Drain and Serve:Remove the chicken from the hot oil and drain them on paper towels or a wire rack to remove excess oil. Serve the crispy chicken hot as a main dish or snack with your favorite sauce.
